Jess started practicing yoga at the age of 15 as a way to alleviate anxiety but the physical benefits of the practice quickly became prominent. In 2014, she completed a 200 hour vinyasa yoga training program followed by a 300 hour advanced training at the Prancing Peacock in Yardley, PA. She has also trained in yin yoga, restorative and meditation. Having explored martial arts along with yoga, Jess is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor and is currently developing a yoga program for BJJ.

Jess believes the stillness we find in the yoga practice is a perfect compliment to the yang forces of our culture, bringing balance and longevity to our lives. Through svadyaya, yoga gives us an opportunity to explore deeper layers of our own consciousness, bridging the gap between the experiences of our inner landscape and our outer world.

Jess is also a Reiki practitioner and subtle body energy worker and finds this work to be a key piece to deepening connection to spirit. Through this practice she was led to an extensive study of the chakra system and the yamas and niyamas of yoga. She believes it is part of her service to guide students to deeper connections with themselves and spirit, clearing confusion and gaining clarity to who you are as a whole being.
