In the most awkward Downward Facing Dog imaginable along with 50 or so others at a YWCA almost 20 years ago, Judy started her yoga journey. Even though she “wasn’t good at it,” she was so intrigued by the calm manner of her friend who introduced her to the practice that she had to find out more. Initially her practice was focused on the physical benefits yet she found that she gained so much more: mental clarity, improved self-esteem, flexibility, endurance in other athletic endeavors and a greater sense of personal peace. Her journey has led her to many teachers and styles and ownership of her own studio in Oregon. Now that she has landed back in NJ, she is am grateful to have the opportunity to share her love for yoga with the YogaSoul community.
