For Melody, yoga has always provoked the feeling of "coming home". Yoga reminds her of the need for balance between strength and flexibility, which permeates into all areas of her life. While practicing regularly during her first pregnancy, she was drawn to the sense of community that was created among the expectant mothers in class. She initially enrolled in teacher training to deepen her own practice, but soon realized she had a calling to share her knowledge with others. Her classes blend breath-informed flow and alignment, and she encourages students to dig toward a deeper sense of self while honoring their bodies in each moment. She aims to empower and inspire people to be the greatest version of themselves. She believes love and compassion start with self and only then can they extend outward to others. She is grateful to be a part of the YogaSoul community.
