SHIRIN Stave-Matias


Shirin discovered her love for Chair Yoga while in search of a way to practice yoga and rehabilitate her body after hip surgery.   A chair proved to be a very effective tool to assist both seated and standing postures.  In her Chair Yoga classes, Shirin skillfully guides students to build a practice that strengthens and suits their body. She always incorporates guided mediation and relaxation to build a balanced and blissful experience.    A former professional dancer with international experience, Shirin has recently returned to the US and is restarting her yoga and dance practices in central New Jersey.   She has been an avid student of Hatha Yoga for many years, extensively studying with Sri Swame Bua Ji, M.H.Y
